In the beginning Hamayoon Mayar and Michael Chappell developed an idea to create a company where they can combine their experience and expertise in the development and rehabilitation of Afghanistan.  In June of 2005 they created Combat Construction Company which is dedicated and willing to work throughout the country providing the working skills, employment and opportunity to the nation.
